Atelier storefront
rebuilt for mobile buying.
A D2C fashion label with a strong identity and a leaky mobile funnel. We rebuilt the storefront around thumb-reach buying: PDP hierarchy, sizing confidence, one-page checkout and a hard speed budget.

Atelier storefront rebuild
The brand was premium; the buying experience wasn’t. Slow product pages, sizing hesitation and a checkout that lost people on phones — where most of the traffic already lived.
The brief wasn’t “a redesign”. It was: stop the mobile drop-off without touching the identity people already trusted.
- —Re-architected the PDP around the three questions a buyer actually asks — fit, fabric, delivery. Sizing tables, model context and the returns promise moved above the fold.
- —Collapsed checkout to a single page: address, payment and confirmation on one screen, with trust marks placed where hesitation happens.
- —Set a hard performance budget — sub-second renders on mid-range Android, modern image formats, third-party scripts rationed.
- —Handed over a CRO backlog ranked by revenue impact so the store keeps improving after launch.
Four moves, no drift.
Discovery sprint
Funnel data, session behaviour and a PDP teardown. Leaks ranked by revenue impact — biggest hole first.
Design system + PDP
Copy skeleton before interface. Real products, real words, real thumb zones — not lorem ipsum in a deck.
Build
Storefront rebuild with the performance budget enforced in CI. Weekly staging link on your phone.
CRO backlog
Analytics + a prioritised experiment list your team can run. We hand over the instrument, not just the store.
- Mobile completion
Checkout steps removed, thumb-reach targets, fewer fields — hesitation points designed out, not decorated over.
- Sizing confidence
Real measurements, model context and an easy-exchange promise — fewer “will it fit?” exits and fewer sizing returns.
- Speed as UX
Images, fonts and scripts on a budget, so the page paints before patience runs out on mid-range phones.
Client names + measured outcomes shared on intro call, with permission.
It felt like working with our own team. Quick replies, and they took ownership when issues came up.
